Hi everyone, So i'm blogging an overdue post about the world championships in moscow.
What a great championship it was. Some surprise results and worthy winners. Of course team jamaica did exceptional once again, taking home 9 gold medals thanks to the stars Usain Bolt and Shelly-ann fraser!
The relays is always one of the best events and the mens 100m relay was no exception. Can't believe team GB got disqualified. So unfair, they all deserved a medal especially as they worked so hard. At least they got to celebrate and bask in the glory before it was taken from them!
Shocker with one of my favourite events 110m hurdles. The favourite, Aries Merritt came sixth and victory was David Oliver's. Very good race indeed. Congrats to david. Disappointed Aries didn't get a medal, but he did well considering he's been struggling with injury.
The 400m was another shocker with Kirani james slipping out of medal position. Lashawn Merritt easily won and proudly took the gold.
The triple jump was also interesting, having been won by frenchman Teddy Tamgho. I thought the cuban man had it then teddy came with his powerful jump.
A brilliant run by Great britains Mo Farah, he did the double once again. Team GB's greatest athlete.
Well another great season. Can't wait till next thursday's diamond league.
